TRACKING FAQ

Your tracking number is included in the shipment confirmation email sent to you when your package was booked, and it also appears on your shipping label. It follows the format SLC-YYYY-XXXXXXXX (e.g. SLC-2026-A3F9K2M1). If you can't find it, contact us at 718-222-8822 or [email protected] with your name and booking date.
Tracking events are logged in real time as your shipment passes through each checkpoint — pickup, sorting hub, transit scans, customs, and delivery. For domestic ground shipments you can expect multiple updates per day. For international or remote routes, updates occur at each major transit point.
A Customs Hold means your international shipment has been stopped at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility for inspection or duty assessment. This is normal for international shipments. You will receive a formal notice from Swift Line Couriers via email with the exact reason, any fees owed, and instructions on how to proceed. Do not panic — our customs clearance team will guide you through the process.
Occasional delays can happen due to weather, high volume periods, customs reviews, or carrier disruptions. If your shipment has shown no movement for more than 3 business days on domestic routes, or 5+ days on international routes, please contact our customer service team at 718-222-8822 or email [email protected] and we will investigate immediately.
Yes! Once you track your package, a Print / Save as PDF button appears at the bottom of your results. This generates a professional shipment invoice including all details, the full event timeline, and any carrier notes — which you can print or download for your records.
If your tracking number returns no results, it may have been entered incorrectly — double-check for common typos (0 vs O, 1 vs I). If you're certain it's correct, it's possible the shipment hasn't been fully processed into our system yet (allow up to 4 hours after booking). If the problem persists, contact us at 718-222-8822.
